Storage - How many times have we as motorcyclists struggled with the every day carrying of wallets, mobile phones, keys, visor cleaners etc, etc. Yes, we can utilise bum bags or tank bags, but they tend to be bulky and certainly don't add to the appearance of either bike or rider. Many modern motorcycles also feature keyless ignition and incorporate navigation functionality on the dash which requires a smart phone as it's driver. These items need to be placed in a convenient position on the bike and the phone will ideally require a charging cable attaching due to the heavy power demand when using the navigation function.
Protection - Tank protectors have a tendency to lack depth and many do not offer the level of protection for which they were originally designed. Reality is, that for a tank protector to be properly effective, we need something a little more substantial, but not so much so that it will impede our position on the bike.
Safety – The carrying of mobile phones, keys and other bulky items within our motorcycle clothing is often uncomfortable at best and potentially hazardous should the worst happen.
